We had been going through a period of stead growth for a few years, but there were consistently issues around the excessive time leadership were spending assessing prospective resource, reviewing CVs etc. I’d also noticed an increase in recruitment spend due to management using suppliers. We’d did a few internal talent acquisitions, but they’d struggled to grasp the nature of our industry and it felt like staffing was the one area of our business we lacked process and consistency. We engaged STVR through a common contact to see if they could help. They presented several ideas around how to implement some efficiencies in attracting new staff and how we assessed them. They provided a designated resource who managed our whole recruitment process, and they just felt like part of our team. We’ve seen our attrition rate drop dramatically in the 12 months, our spend on third parties has been significantly reduced, and with their support we are now building our own internal database to further strengthen ourselves from a resource perspective.
